Guided hike in Korpimäki nature reserve

This reserve is situated about 40 km north of the town center of Orsa. Here you find the mountain that is the highest point in Orsa. You walk in a beautiful forest full of magnificent old trees, lichens and dead wood. Bird life is rich, and you will also most certainly find tracks of moose and bear. The terrain is not rough, but it is partly steep. The tour is suitable for anyone having a normal level of fitness. The view from the top is splendid and worth all effort.

When: 

How: We start at the parking place outside “Orsa Hembygdsgård” and travel together. Bring water and lunch package. You will need walking shoes or boots. Bring rain gear or swim wear depending on the weather. A dip in the creek after the hike is an unforgettable experience.

Price: 650 SEK for adults and 100 SEK for children below 16. The tour includes guide and morning coffee/tea with sandwiches.
